Call centre for devotees in Simhastha to operate 24X7 from April
Bhopal. Number of calls at the call centre for Simhastha from April 22 to May 21 at Ujjain is increasing day by day. The call centre will operate 24X7 from April. Any Simhastha-related information can be obtained by dialing call centre’s number 1100. Presently, the call centre is working from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm.
Revenue Inspector suspended for unfair conduct
Ujjain Collector Shri Kavindra Kiyawat has suspended Revenue Inspector Ganesh More for unfair conduct with saints and seers coming to take part in Simhastha Mela-2016. During suspension, Ganesh More’s headquarters will be Land Records Office.
6000 Home Guards to render service during Simhastha
As many as 6000 Home Guards will render service during Simhastha. Of these, 1100 Home Guards will be deployed at Ghats and 427 in firefighting arrangements. Besides, Home Guards will also be deployed for crowd & traffic management, Zone and Sector offices.
Mini telephone exchange of BSNL in Dutt Akhada Zone
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will set up a mini telephone exchange in Dutt Akhada Zone. Through it, BSNL will manage network in Mela area. Simhastha Mela Office has kept ready Plan ‘B’ in case of network failure. Under Plan ‘B’, there would be landline connections in all Zonal and Sector Offices. STD-PCO booths are also being set up near banks and ATMs in Mela area.
