Rebels Torch Trucks, Forest Beat Office in West Midnapore

Suspected Maoist rebels torched two trucks and a forest beat office in West Midnapore district of West Bengal on Saturday.

The police confirmed that two trucks were burnt on National Highway 6 near Gajasul and a forest beat office at Sankhahar under Jhargram police station.

The arson comes close on the heels of the killing of four people at the yhands of the rebels on Friday and several incidents of arson in Jhargram area on Thursday.
