Chief Minister’s big announcement, relief news for employees, will get benefit up to Rs 5 lakh, this will be the process

There is great news for the employees. An increase in the amount has been announced by the Chief Minister for them, while now they will be given a benefit of up to Rs 5 lakh.

In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given a big relief to the sanitation workers. In fact, in case of death of a cleaning worker in an accident in the urban body, now an insurance amount of Rs 5 lakh will be made available to his relatives.

Revised Insurance Scheme
The group insurance scheme has been revised by the state government for the sweepers working in the regular pay scale. At the same time, insurance of Rs 2 lakh was made available on the death of the sweeper. Now it has been increased to Rs 5 lakh.

Special amount will be borne by the state government

Under normal circumstances, an insurance of Rs 1 lakh will be provided on death as before, while the contribution of sanitation workers to the insurance scheme will remain the same as Rs 20 per month as before. The special amount will be borne by the state government. Approval of claim cases in Group Insurance Scheme will be given by Directorate of Urban Administration and Development.

Giving information in the matter, Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh said that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced to increase the insurance amount on the death of the sweeper. Now, implementing this, the group insurance scheme is being revised.
