Navy headquarters in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad has been rocked by a suicide bomb attack, said police.
Residents in a downtown area of Islamabad reported hearing the blast, but there was no immediate word on its source.
According to Officer Fayaz Alam, the attacker set off his explosives as he was challenged at the gate of the heavily fortified complex in Islamabad.
However, there is no report on any casualty at yet.
It should be noted that Pakistan has been hit by a series of bomb blasts in recent months by militants.
TV journalists said that at the scene said damage from the blast appeared to be minimal.
