South African captain decided to field in the first cricket against India after winning the toss
On Thursday Graeme Smith captain of South Africa won the toss and elected to field in the first cricket Test against India in Centurion
Rain delayed the start of first day’s play by over four hours and the umpires gave the go ahead after two inspections.
Zaheer Khan was injured and India decided not to field injured Zaheer Khan and gave the first Test cap to paceman Jaidev Unadkat.
