CM to Government school students, don’t under-estimate yourself

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that we should take pride in our language. Hindi is the second largely spoken language in the world. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the golden jubilee function of Mahatma Gandhi Government Higher Secondary School at Barkhera in BHEL here today. Urban Administration and Development Minister Shri Babulal Gaur was specially present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that students of government schools should not under-estimate themselves. There are several precedents of people attaining major achievements after passing out from government schools. He said that Hindi Vishwavidyalaya has been established in the state where teaching of medical and engineering courses will be imparted through Hindi medium. He exhorted students to imbibe virtues in their lives. Wherever they go, they should discharge their duties with utmost honesty and hard work. Quoting Swami Vivekananda, he said that nothing is impossible in the world. Shri Chouhan exhorted students to put in their best contribution to society and country. He congratulated the school on completing 50 years and announced that its entry gate and boundary wall will be constructed.
Minister Shri Gaur said that paying respect to teachers is our duty. Establishment of BHEL has led to economic and educational progress. He said that a college will be opened in the area with the cooperation of BHEL. BHEL General Manager Shri Suresh Gupta and Shri Tapan Bhaumik also spoke on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan felicitated former teachers and talented pass outs of the school. School Principal Smt. Pushpa Sharma read out annual report. Commissioner Education Shri Arun Kochar and a large number of students were also present on the occasion. Shri Arun Vishwakarma proposed a vote of thanks.
