In many countries of FIPIC itself, work is going on on many projects of China. China is engaged in building a very ambitious road project in Papua New Guinea itself. Which will connect all the areas of the country with each other. 47 thousand crore rupees will be spent on this. A hydro power plant is also being prepared in the country with the cooperation of China.

PM Narendra Modi reached Papua New Guinea on Sunday evening. He was received by Prime Minister James Marep in the capital Port Moresby. Marep welcomed Modi by touching his feet. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to this Indo Pacific region.
