PM Modi Asked For Help On Kashmir, Can Mediate: Trump Tells Imran Khan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked for help to resolve differences with Pakistan on Kashmir, US President Donald Trump claimed on Monday during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, news agency Reuters reported.
Mr Trump also offered to mediate between India and Pakistan, a move that would signal a shift in long-standing US policy that the issue must be solved bilaterally.
“If I can help, I would love to be a mediator… If I can do anything to help, let me know,” Mr Trump said at the White House, where he was hosting Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan, news agency AFP reported.
