Obama-Clinton top Gallup’s Most admired list of 2012

Washington: US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been chosen as World’s ‘Most Admired Man of the Year’ and ‘Most Admired Woman of the Year,’ respectively. People were asked in the survey that whom they liked most after 1948.
In a recent survey conducted by Gallup, where Obama got 30 percent vote, Hillary has been chosen for the eleventh consecutive time. Obama gets the honor for the fifth consecutive year.
Others who have got a place in the list include- first Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, America’s former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Pakistani activist Malala Yousafzai, Queen Elizabeth II, former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Myanmar democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi and Kate Middleton, wife of British Prince William.
In the list of ‘Most Admired Man of the Year’ Nelson Mandela took the second spot, followed by Mitt Romney, Billy Graham, former President George W. Bush, Pope Benedict 16th, former President Bill Clinton and Dalai Lama. Former President George H.W. Bush, Ron Paul and Sen. John McCain hold position in the top ten.
