Cabined decides to give Rs. 8 crore for payment of MPRTC employees

Bhopal: A cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today decided to provide Rs. 7 crore 97 lakh 70 thousand 352 received from auction of scrape of Madhya Pradesh Road Transport Corporation, which is presently deposited in the State Fund, to the corporation as loan towards payments as per the priorities fixed by the inter-department committee. This will also facilitate payment of last 14 months’ salaries to the corporation’s employees.

The cabinet gave revised administrative sanction and investment clearance worth Rs. 657 crore 86 lakh for Balaghat district’s Rajiv Nagar (Bawanthadi) Major Project.

The cabinet decided to give State Government’s guarantee to Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation, Indore to acquire Rs. 100 crore loan. The corporation will utilise this loan in extending financial assistance to small and medium industrial units and other commercial services.

The cabinet endorsed Human Rights Commission’s report for year 2006-07 and action taken memo and gave permission to table the same in Vidhan Sabha.

The cabinet approved Court Fees (Madhya Pradesh Amendment) Bill 2012, Madhya Pradesh Advocates Welfare Fund (Amendment) Bill 2012 and Madhya Pradesh VAT (Second Amendment) Bill 2012.

The cabinet decided to withdraw pension (excluding minimum pension) of the then sub-divisional officer, PWD, Shajapur division (Presently retired) Shri Arun Saxena on being found guilty in a criminal case. It also decided to permanently withdraw pension (excluding minimum pension) of the then assistant engineer, PWD, Vidisha division (retired) Shri C.P. Mathur. Decision was also taken to initiate departmental enquiry against retired superintending engineer, PWD, Gwalior Shri S.K. Yadav.

The cabinet decided to deduct with retrospective effect an amount equivalent to withholding of two increments in lump sum from the pension of retired assistant engineer, Water Resources Department Shri R.S. Rathore. It was decided to institute a departmental enquiry against retired senior geologist Shri S.C. Gupta and retired groundwater expert Shri A.N. Piloskar. It was decided to deduct with retrospective effect an amount equivalent to withholding of one increment in lump sum from the pension of retired superintending engineer, Water Resources Department Shri S.A. Kareem.
