Mild earthquake jolts Nepal Capital
Kathmandu: A 5.3-magnitude earthquake jolted Nepal’s capital Kathmandu and adjoining districts on Thursday, Nepal’s National Seismological Centre said.
The mild tremor struck at 10 am with the epicentre at Sindhupalchowk district, media reports stated.
Sindhupalchowk is an adjoining district of Kathmandu.
Nepal was devastated by powerful earthquakes and aftershocks in April and May which claimed over 9,000 lives.
