81.77 percent polling in first phase

Bhopal: As much as 81.77 percent polling was held in the first phase of Panchayat general elections 2014-15 including 82.25 percent males, 81.42 percent females and 5 percent others.

Maximum 91.92 percent polling was held in Biaora development block of Rajgarh district including 93.25 percent males and 90.44 percent females. Minimum 60.76 percent polling was registered in Prithvipur development block of Tikamgarh district including 58.22 percent males and 63.62 percent females.

Over 90 percent polling was also reported from Neemuch development block (90.80 percent), Sehore (90.39 percent) and Rajgarh (90.07 percent)
