Tobacco Ban: increase in mouth cancer cases in MP
BHOPAL: The government has revoked licences of seven major guthka producing companies in a move to curb the increasing number of mouth cancer cases in the state.
The ban on guthka by government comes into effect from Sunday, 1 April 2012.
A penalty of Rs 25,000 under the Food Security and Standard Assessment Action be slapped on the person violating the above ban.
