Value based education can save the world : CM
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that only value-based education and spiritualism can save the world from problems generated by materialism. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was flagging off Value-based Education Awareness Rally at his official residence here today. The rally was organised by Brahmakumaris’ Shiksha Sewa.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that respect to all religions has always been tradition in India. Every religion teaches human development. Objectives of every religion are ensuring welfare and imbibe knowledge, skill and values of being civilized. Objective of life must be clear. Life can be made meaningful by doing positive works. Development is not confined only to construction of buildings, bridges and culverts, but also includes spiritual development of human beings. Referring to Beti Bachao Abhiyan, he said that mindset of society towards daughters will have to be changed since life depends on daughters. A number of novel schemes have been launched for daughters in the state.
At the outset, Sushri Avdhesh Bahenji read out welcome address. Bhrata Shri Mrityunjay threw light on the rally’s objectives. Shri Chouhan flagged off the rally. At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and his wife Smt. Sadhna Singh were felicitated. Bhai-Bahens associated with Prajapita Brahmkumari were present on the occasion.
