Covid-19 positivity rate in C’garh is 0.14%
Covid-19 positivity rate in Chhattisgarh has fallen further to 0.14 percent, it was announced on Wednesday.
On August 17, 39,000 samples were tested across the state and only 56 people were found Covid positive, an official statement said.
No new cases were reported in nine districts: Balod, Bemetara, Kabirdham, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Surguja, Korea and Dantewada.
Only one case was reported in each of these nine districts: Rajnandgaon, Raipur, Balodabazar-Bhatapara, Raigarh, Mungeli, Surajpur, Balrampur-Ramanujganj, Narayanpur and Bijapur.
Likewise, two cases each were found in Mahasamund, Bilaspur and Kondagaon.
At present, the rate of infection in various districts ranges from zero to a maximum of 0.52 percent. On August 17, only one death due to Covid infection was reported in the state.
The number of active patients in Chhattisgarh is 1,037, the statement said.
