Clash on a checkpost claimed life of five security men and total fifteen
ISLAMABAD: On Sunday ten militants and five security men were killed on a checkpost in northweat Pakistan during a clash.
A local channel informed that fighting erupted when militants attacked the checkpost in the Bara area of Khyber Agency, close to the Afghan border. After this, hundreds of local tribesmen launched a counter-attack.
One soldier and four paramilitary personnel, who were manning the post, and 10 militants were killed in the clash. The injured tribesmen were shifted to a hospital in Peshawar.
Security has been tightened in the area of Khyber and a search launched to nab the militants.
