State government to arrange education of deprived and poor children

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that state government will arrange education of deprived and poor children to develop Madhya Pradesh as totally literate state. Shri Chouhan was addressing a function under “Aao Banayen Apna Madhya Pradesh” and “School Chalen Ham Abhiyan” in Shivpuri today. Public Health Engineering Minister Sushri Kusum Mehdele, MP Shri Anup Mishra and distinguished citizens were present on the occasion.
Shri Chouhan said that no child should remain deprived from school. Society has to play an important role in this besides the government. “School Chalen Ham Abhiyan” has been launched to remove this hurdle so that Madhya Pradesh becomes educated state. He said that government will arrange lodging, food, education and uniform’s entire arrangements of poor children. He exhorted children to study with concentration, become important persons and brighten name of their family and state.
Shri Chouhan informed that education in the state is being provided free from class I to XII. Besides, loans through banks are also being provided on state government’s guarantee to students for pursuing higher education.
The Chief Minister inaugurated and laid foundation stones of 692 works costing Rs. 294 crore 22 lakh in Shivpuri district. He distributed assistance worth Rs. 6 crore 50 lakh under various schemes to 2300 beneficiaries. The Chief Minister said that no negligence will be tolerated in implementation of government schemes. Strict action will be taken against guilty persons. He informed that he will undertake surprise inspections to know field level realities.
