Special grant of Rs 27 crore 30 lakh approved to 40 urban bodies

Special grant of Rs 27 crore 30 lakh has been sanctioned to 40 urban bodies of the state for special needs and contingency purposes. This amount has to be spent only on the work it has been allocated for.
Rs 1 crore each has been sanctioned to urban bodies including Lahar, Salichouka, Chichli, Saikheda, Rehli, Harpalpur, Mohgaon, Chaurai, Bhind, Dongarparasia, Junnardeo, Harrai, Piplanarayanwar, Lodhikheda and Badkuhi. Rs 75 lakhs each has been sanctioned to Kumbhraj and Indergarh and Rs 50 lakhs each to Sheopur, Badouda, Khirkiya, Chand, Pandurna, Mahidpur, Chandameta Butariya, Vijaypur, Khargone, Neemuch, Maihar, Raghogarh, Nepanagar, Kurawar, Shahpura, Kurwai, Ichchawar, Tikamgarh, Amarwada, Udaipura and Bareli. Rs 25 thousand has been sanctioned to Sardarpur urban body and Rs 5 thousand has been sanctioned for Badoud. Instructions have been issued to undertake the approved works subject to the prescribed conditions.
