Players of MP will represent India in Asian Games
In Asian Games at Guangzhou, China, a total of seven players are going to participate from Madhya Pradesh. They are from various sports academies.
Madhya Pradesh Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare declared in a press release that the seven players selected from the state, five are from the Martial Art Academy of Madhya Pradesh and one each from the State Women’s Hockey Academy and the State Water Sports Academy.
Jaswant Singh and Latika Bhandari will represent the country in Taekwondo and Amardeep Basediya and Bindu Devi will take part in fencing. Mona Lisa is going to participate in rowing events and Vikas Sharma will take part in Karate. Rosalind Ralte an official in the Indian Railways, will represent the country in hockey.
