127 dead in deadly Plane crash in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The deadly air crash leads to death of all 127 members on board a Boeing 737 plane that crashed near Islamabad in bad weather on Friday evening reports officials. It includes 121 passengers and 6 crew members.

The Bhoja Air Boeing 737 flown from Karachi, crashed on its approach to the airport during a storm. The plane crashed near a residential area when it was about to land on an international airport.

Pakistan Navy official Captain Arshad Mahmood said, “The weather was very bad, there was hail and thunderstorm. The pilot lost control and hit the ground. It tossed up due to the impact and exploded and came down in a fireball”.

“Fire erupted after the crash. The wreckage is on fire, the plane is completely destroyed,” Rehman a police official told Geo television.

Farooq Bhoja, head of Bhoja Air, had been barred from leaving the country as the investigation gets under way.

“It is being said that the aircraft was pretty old, so it has been ordered to investigate thoroughly the air worthiness of the Bhoja Air aircraft,” Mr Malik said.

Abdul Raoof, 55, relative of a victim said, “We have been here since early morning. We go inside the mortuary and return in depression after seeing body parts lying there”.

“We are traumatized. We want to get the body and leave this place as early as possible,” he added.
