Bhopal. You can obtain any information about the Bhopal police with just one click of mouse. All this will available on website of Bhopal Police. Home Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta launched the website at Police Control Room here today. He said that such websites should be developed in all the districts of the state.
The information available on the website include list and phone numbers of all the officers, updates on serious crimes, forms pertaining to tenants and senior citizens, police press notes etc. Information about route diversion in the city due to some special function or programme will also be made available on the website.
Lauding Bhopal police for developing this website, Shri Gupta said that such websites should be developed in all the districts of the state. He said that besides journalists, common people will also be benefited by this website. The Home Minister said that suggestions to be received for improving the websites should also be considered.
Director General of Police Shri Nandan Dube said that the website will make the police more transparent. He said that the press will get information easily. Inspector General of Police Shri Vijay Yadav threw light on the information available on the website.
Superintendent of Police Shri Abhay Singh and other officers were also present on the occasion.
