‘Where is Ranbir Kapoor?’, fans wonder as Alia Bhatt jets off to London with Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji

Ayan Mukerji who is currently working on Brahmastra that began shooting at the beginning of last year has been giving us small treats on the upcoming sci-fi film. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Ayan, who is known for his works like Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, made his Instagram debut and has been sharing posts on the entire process of the much-awaited movie.

As Brahmastra is set to be the first of a trilogy, the project is helmed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and is slated to release now in Summer 2020. Alia Bhatt who will play the role of Isha in the movie, too, had shared photos from the logo launch of the film where 150 drones had formed the logo at the Prayagraj sky, Kumbh Mela. Ranbir Kapoor, who is playing the role of Shiva, was also present of the logo launch.

Recently, Ayan shared a photo with Alia and friends as they fly off to London. With Ayan’s hashtag, it seems that it could be related to the music of the film given that Bollywood music director Pritam was present with them. In the picture, Alia looks pretty in a hot pink overcoat and blue flared jeans. On the photograph, Ayan wrote, “Adventure (of a Lifetime) #uptonogood #londondiaries #brahmastra.”

However, fans have been asking Ranbir Kapoor’s whereabouts and commenting on the photo. ‘Where is RK?,’ an internet user wrote.

Earlier, Ayan had shared the first time when Ranbir and Alia shared screen space for Brahmastra and wrote, “Beginnings. Tel Aviv, Israel… Beginning of 2018, and the beginning of many things… We were in Tel Aviv to prepare for our first shooting schedule with a very special member of our team, and it marked the beginning of Ranbir and Alia working together for the movie and getting to know each other…Brahmāstra has come with a lot of travel, to find creative collaborations everywhere in the world… something I hope will add greatly to the film eventually.”

Brahmastra also stars Mouni Roy as the antagonist alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia. The movie was earlier supposed to release in December in this year, however, due to technical reasons, the producers revealed that it will now hit theatres in Summer 2020.
