Ranbir the youth icon in ad world

MUMBAI: Ranbir Kapoor is the brand ambassador for as many as nine products. He leaves behind his companions new comers like Imran Khan and Shahid Kapoor. Imran is the brand ambassador of a Cola brand, and it ends there. Imran is already married, that changes target audience too.

Says ad experts, not taking marital status into account, of course Imran Khan is considered ‘cute’, but Ranbir Kapoor is seen more. He is more prolific, and the youth seems to identify with him.”

People are often drawing comparisons between Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan. Well, the ad world has proved that Ranbir Kapoor is miles ahead in this race. The actor only recently bagged two more endorsement deals.

“In fact, Ranbir Kapoor has even replaced the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in a few ads. Shahid Kapoor may be a few years senior to Ranbir Kapoor, but even Shahid doesn’t have as many ads as Ranbir does. Ranbir is surely the current flavour, a flavour that’s going to be around for a long long time,” say experts.
