Priyanka Chopra gives peek into first Karwa Chauth celebration with hubby Nick Jonas

You can take a Desi girl out of India, but you can never take away her love for her culture and traditions, this is certainly true in the case B-town-star-turned-international-celeb Priyanka Chopra. The diva might have moved across the world to follow her dream of global dominance, but it doesn’t mean she doesn’t have time to celebrate Karwa Chauth with hubby Nick Jonas.

This is the first Karwa Chauth for PeeCee and she is simply delighted to celebrate the day with Nick and this was quite visible on her social media account as well.

Priyanka shared a picture on her Instagram account in which she can be seen sporting a beautiful red saree as she poses with hubby Nick. The singer was dressed in plaid shirt and pants.

Along with the picture, she wrote, “Karwa chauth at a @jonasbrothers concert. Definitely a first I’ll always remember! @nickjonas #karwachauth”

Nick also shared adorable pictures from the celebrations with a heartfelt note and wrote, “My wife is Indian. She is Hindu, and she is incredible in every way. She has taught me so much about her culture and religion. I love and admire her so much, and as you can see we have fun together. Happy Karva Chauth to everyone!”

Apart from this post, the diva has been sharing stills from her Karwa Chauth preparations
This will be a fairly new experience for American singer Nick Jonas who tied the knot with PeeCee last year in a fairytale wedding.

It is will be exciting to see how the diva dresses up on the occasion, after all, it is her first celebration post marriage.

On the work front, Priyanka has been juggling her two lives in LA and Mumbai. The diva recently graced the silver screen after a hiatus of three years with Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink.

The film, co-starring Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim and Rohit Suresh Saraf in the lead roles, also marks Priyanka’s first Hindi production venture. The Sky Is Pink has released worldwide and has been well received by the critics.

The diva will be soon starring alongside Mindy Kaling in a comedy about an Indian-American wedding.
