Deepika Padukone calls out Shah Rukh Khan for not giving her a call
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone share a great bond with each other and they are often seen joking and making fun of each other on social media. Deepika, who made her Bollywood debut in Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh, has always been an admirer of King Khan and she has often expressed that in her interviews. On Koffee with Karan 6, she was asked to call a friend from the industry and she had called SRK, which speaks volumes about their strong bond.
Recently, King Khan posted a selfie on Twitter saying that he pulled an all-nighter to clean his library. The caption of the picture read, “Did an all nighter….cleaning up my library. A bit shabby & smelling of books, dust and happiness.”
After seeing SRK’s picture, Deepika Padukone responded to the post saying that he was supposed to call her. The caption read, “hello! You were supposed to call me!.” By the looks of it, it seems that SRK forgot to call Deepika.
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have worked together in many blockbuster films, including Om Shanti Om, Happy New Year and Chennai Express. Their on-screen chemistry is appreciated by critics and fans alike.
On the work front, Deepika was last seen in Padmaavat, wherein she played the role of Rani Padmavati. Shah Rukh was last seen in Zero, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. As of now, SRK hasn’t announced his upcoming project as he is on a sabbatical. As for Deepika, she wrapped up shooting Chhapaak a couple of weeks back and is currently working on ’83.
