Avengers 4 will feature Gamora, time travel and this video is proof. Watch video

Avengers Infinity War climax was not the only heartbreaking moment in the film; Thanos’ decision to kill his adopted daughter Gamora left fans in shock as well. Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, happens to be a pivotal character in Guardians of the Galaxy, and was also the means for Thanos acquiring the soul stone in Avengers Infinity War. The fate of Gamora in the future is now being discussed, especially after Infinity War’s digital release.

For instance, Zoe had confessed that she would be returning to the sets of Avengers and this inadvertently became a spoiler as her return to Avengers would become a key aspect of the film. She had said to E!, “At least for me, it felt like a [to be continued], because I knew that we will have to all come back, at some point this fall, and finish up the fourth instalment of Avengers.”

Now, Saldana’s old Instagram video has resurfaced where she is getting ready to play Gamora again and the look is from first iteration of Guardians of Galaxy. This confirms Avengers 4 will not only bring back Gamora, but Time Travel will also be an important plot point. This old video posted in December 2017 is also important because Gamora sports a look quite similar to that in the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. Fans also confirm that this look was not for scenes in Infinity War as Gamora’s hair is done differently in the film.

Does this mean that Avengers will travel back in time to when the events of Guardians of the Galaxy occurred to change the outcome in the future? This seems to be the most plausible reason why Gamora would be a part of Avengers 4 other than being featured in flashback sequences.

Avengers 4 is slated to release worldwide in Summer 2019, and this film will bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe to an end. There are speculations about how MCU will proceed post Avengers 4 on Reddit already.
