CHIEF MINISTER ISSUES DIRECIVES TO INCLUDE GARLIC IN BHAVANTAR BHUGTAN YOJANA

The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan while expressing concern over the declining price of garlic, has given instructions to the Principal Secretary Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development to include garlic in the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana, in order to provide relief to the farmers. He also appealed to the garlic producing farmers to register themselves immediately to derive benefit of the scheme.CM Shri Chouhan reviewed the declining price of garlic today, in his chamber at Vidhan Sabha. He gave instructions to the Principal Secretary Agriculture to start registering garlic producing farmers under the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana with immediate effect. He mentioned that the rates of garlic will be fixed by the State level committee.In compliance to the directives of the Chief Minister, an activity to register farmers in the garlic producing district has been started from today itself. All the districts of Ujjain division beside Indore, Rajgarh, Sehore and Sagar districts have been included in the Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana
