Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan made several announcements in Bhopal on Saturday ranging from guest teachers to poor and laborers. CM started the third phase of Deendayal Rasoi Yojana at Kushabhau International Convention Center in Bhopal in the morning. Here he also distributed pattas to 38,505 homeless people. Addressed the conference of guest teachers at Lal Parade Ground in the afternoon. During this, he announced to double the honorarium of guest teachers and said that now they will get fixed honorarium on a month-wise basis.

Inaugurating the next phase of Deendayal Rasoi Yojana, the Chief Minister said, ‘We started this scheme in 2017. At that time, they used to give a plate of food for Rs 10. Now the price should have been Rs 15, but there is a BJP government, that’s why we are making the price Rs 5.

The CM said, ’66 more Deendayal kitchens will start from today. Where there are laborers, kitchens will be delivered there. For this, we will start a mobile kitchen. Deendayal Rasoi will also be started in Nagar Panchayats with a population of more than 20,000.

While distributing pattas to the homeless, the Chief Minister said, ‘Deendayal Upadhyay used to say that service to the poor is service to God. Everyone has the right to the earth’s resources. Everyone should get houses, that’s why we made Chief Minister Bhu Adhikar Awas Yojana. Those whose lands have been encroached upon for years, will be given free lease to them. Have given lease to the occupants till 2020. Today 38,505 pattas are being distributed. Will distribute 4.5 lakh leases. We will give them free houses by making Chief Minister’s Jan Awas Yojana. Will give first the lease and then the house.

On the other hand, Urban Administration Minister Bhupendra Singh said that permanent kitchen centers have been started in 66 municipalities. Including these, now there are 166 Deendayal Rasoi Kendras in the state.

While addressing the guest teachers, Chief Minister Shivraj said – All guest teachers will now get double the honorarium. Till now there is a system of giving honorarium according to the period. Changes are being made in this. Now you will get fixed honorarium on monthly basis. 68 thousand guest teachers will benefit from this.

 

CM said, ‘Class 3 employees who used to get honorarium of Rs 9000, will now get Rs 18000. Similarly, guest teachers who get Rs 7000 as honorarium will now get Rs 14 thousand and those who get Rs 5000 as honorarium will now get Rs 10 thousand.

There will be no gap in between the years. The contract will be for full 1 year.

Till now there was a reservation of 25% for making guest teachers permanent, now it will be increased to 50%.

All these announcements will come into force immediately.

Just like regular teachers get salary, similarly honorarium will be given on the first day of the month so that no one has to go astray.

I will make a rule so that just as teachers are regularized through eligibility test, guest teachers should also be regularized in the same way.

Addressing the guest teachers, Shivraj Singh said, ‘The previous government had never taken concrete steps to improve the education system. Guruji, education workers and later guest teachers were trapped.

 

CM further said, ‘I can never forget your contribution. When there were no regular teachers, you were given the responsibility of teaching as a guest teacher. I am happy that most of the guest teachers have fulfilled their responsibilities with dedication. You are the one who has taken the train of education forward.
