Prime Minister Modi visit to Madhya Pradesh should be grand: CM Chouhan
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bhopal and Shahdol on June 27 should be given a grand appearance. He said to ensure that the citizens coming to participate in the Prime Minister’s programme do not face any inconvenience. He instructed to emphasise on security arrangements. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing the meeting of officials at Samatva Bhavan in residence office. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Chowdhary and Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains were also present.
It was apprised that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the PVC Ayushman Card Distribution Scheme in Shahdol. Pioneering in the country, digital Ayushman cards are being distributed to 3 crore 57 lakh Ayushman beneficiaries in the state. After the launch of scheme by the Prime Minister, PVC cards will be distributed in the presence of public representatives at the gram panchayat and urban body level. There will be Ayushman Gram Sabha for this at Panchayat level, in which the names of Ayushman beneficiaries will be read. Arrangements have been made for live telecast of the Prime Minister’s programme in the urban bodies.
It was informed that Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the Sickle Cell Anemia Eradication Mission 2047 at the national level in Shahdol. Representatives of the Health, Tribal, AYUSH Ministries of the Central Government and representatives of 17 states of the country will participate online in the launch programme. In the programme, sickle cell genetic counseling cards will be distributed virtually to more than 2 lakh beneficiaries of about 3 thousand health and wellness centers in 89 development blocks of 20 tribal-dominated districts of the state. These cards will contain the report of sickle cell anemia after testing. Prime Minister Modi will also unveil the Sickle Cell Operation Guide Line, launch the National Sickle Cell Portal and Dash Board on this occasion. Sickle cell manual will also be unveiled. The programme will telecast live at more than 25 thousand 500 places across the state. These include Civil Hospital, District Hospital, Health and Wellness Center, Medical College, Urban Local Body and Municipal Corporation Headquarters along with Primary and Community Health Centers.
A film prepared in connection with eradication of sickle cell in the state will be screened in the programme of Prime Minister Modi. The Prime Minister will also interact directly with the villagers and public representatives and will also participate in the mass feast. Additional Chief Secretary Health Shri Mohammad Suleman and Principal Secretary Tribal Affairs. Pallavi Jain Govil informed about the preparations being made for the programme. Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Ram Khelawan Patel, Commissioner and Collector of Shahdol virtually informed about the arrangements being made.
On June 27, Prime Minister Modi will flag off two Vande Bharat trains, Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur, at Rani Kamlapati Railway Station in Bhopal. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed the railway officials that such arrangements should be made that the citizens of the state can listen to the Prime Minister’s address in the programme to be held at the railway station.
