Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that due to being within the ambit of discipline and being bound by decorum, the policemen do not inform about their problems, nor do they give any demand letter etc. Recently, during the Prime Minister’s visit to Shahdol, when he asked the members of the field police force about their problems in the discussion, they remained silent, but the problems of the policemen are seen in the field. In such a situation, it has been decided to increase the facilities of the police personnel.

Major announcements of Chief Minister  Chouhan were Officers-employees from constable to sub-inspector level posted in all police stations, who do not have government vehicles, will be given 15 liters of petrol allowance per month.

Nutritious diet allowance of policemen will be made one thousand rupees per month. Uniform allowance of constable and head constable will be Rs.5000 per year.

State Police Service officers will be given fifth pay scale. The rate of free food allowance will be Rs.100 per day.

Free medical checkup will be done for all policemen above 45 years of age. Weekly holiday by rotation will be ensured for all policemen.

25000 new houses will be built for policemen. An allowance of Rs 1,000 will be approved for Special Armed Forces (SAF) personnel.

Chief Minister  Chouhan was addressing the field staff of the police force including police officers and employees who came to meet him at Samatva Bhavan Chief Minister’s residence today. The police force reached the Chief Minister’s residence today and expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister Chouhan for the important announcements made in the interest of the police officers/employees of the state. On Friday, Chief Minister  Chouhan made important announcements for the welfare of the police force. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Inspector of Police, Company Commander, Deputy Inspector and constables expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister  Chouhan by presenting bouquets. Police Commissioner  Hari Narayanchari Mishra and other senior officers including inspectors, sub-inspectors, constables were present.

Chief Minister Chouhan made two children of police personnel studying in Class V, Avyan Shukla and Yuvan Thakur, sit on the dais as guests. Both the children kept talking to Chief Minister  Chouhan for a long time.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that “I am also happy to see your happiness. I believe in running the government with a family spirit.” Chief Minister  Chouhan said that the police family is a part of the family of Madhya Pradesh. I try to understand the problems of the field. These decisions are not only in the interest of the policemen but also in the interest of the state. By getting good facilities, the policemen will render services with more devotion. Will also make Madhya Pradesh best in policing. This sequence of dialogue with the police force will continue further.

DCP Bhopal  Vineet Kapoor said that the announcements made by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan are related to the welfare of police personnel. Benefits like nutrition-diet, uniform-allowance, petrol-allowance were not available earlier. The Chief Minister meets the police force and discusses their problems. Due to being disciplined, policemen often do not tell their problems. But this is an important step taken by the Chief Minister to boost the morale of the police force. Police force will be able to provide better services. Additional DCP Sandeep Dixit said that other welfare announcements including the fifth pay scale are in the interest of the police. This was a long awaited demand of the State Police Service. We express our thanks to Chief Minister  Chouhan.

T.I. Hemant Srivastava said that petrol-allowance was not received in the past. Now its provision has been made which will be useful. With the development of colonies in the urban area, the work area has increased. Getting petrol allowance will make work easier. The Chief Minister has given this important gift. Inspector Sushri Akanksha Sharma said that there is an atmosphere of happiness in the police family due to the announcements of Chief Minister Shri Chouhan.

 

Constable Sanju Sharma said that this day is important in the history of police. Everyone is fond of wearing a nice uniform. We will also get weekly off and it will be easier if we get Rs 5,000 uniform allowance. Before this the uniform allowance was Rs.2400. Senior Inspector Mr. N.S. Chouhan said that the medical examination facility would make it easier for the policemen doing duty in the plains to keep their health in good shape. This is an important decision. SAF jawan Mr. Deepak Rajak said that many times duty has to be done in difficult circumstances. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan understood our mood and approved the allowance of one thousand rupees for the Special Armed Forces. Company Commander Shri Bhojraj Patel said that the amount has been increased for nutritious food. Policemen are proud of this decision. On this occasion, the relatives of many policemen also reached to show their gratitude and expressed their gratitude towards the government.
