The Italian staff at Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh’s wedding was trained in Hindi and Konkani

With the official wedding photos of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh being out, it is safe to say how it’s like a match made in heaven. The power couple tied the knot in Konkani-Sindhi wedding ceremonies that took place on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como in Italy. For their Konkani wedding ceremony on day 1, Deepika wore a beautiful golden and red sari while Ranveer looked handsome in a white kurta and mundu.

On day 2, DeepVeer married in a Sindhi wedding ceremony where Deepika wore a red Sabyasachi lehenga and Ranveer in a traditional kurta pyjama. They both got hitched in an Anand Karaj ceremony. While the wedding traditions all took place in Villa Del Balbianello, the scenic beauty was certainly a shift from the hustle bustle of the city life. The staff greeted guests and DeepVeer personally had handwritten notes for them,

In fact, according to a Times of India report, the Italian staff was trained to speak in Konkani and Hindi languages. They were seen greeting the guests and were fully trained in these languages. The cuisine of the venue included a lavish Mangalorean feast and food was served in the traditional banana leaves. Apparently, the Italian staff who assisted the couple in all their festivities are also expected to go with them to Bangalore.

Deepika and Ranveer are expected to go on their honeymoon following which they will make their first public appearance at the Bangaluru reception on November 21 at The Leela hotel. The couple will also host a lavish wedding reception in Mumbai for their industry friends on November 28 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
