Rosaiah Likely to Be Acting Andhra CM
In the wake of unfortunate demise of Chief Minister YSR Reddy in an air crash, senior Andhra Pradesh Minister K Rosaiah is likely to be appointed the Acting Chief Minister.
Media reports, quoting unnamed highly placed sources, said that the Congress was not in a hurry to hold a meeting of Congress Legislature Party to elect a leader and the process would most probably take place after three or four days.
77-year-old Rosaiah is the state Finance Minister and the number two in the state Cabinet. The Congress Working Committee is meeting later in the day.
