All 26/11 Attackers Belonged to Lashkar, Admits Pak

For the first time since 26/11 attacks, Pakistan has eventually admitted that all the attackers involved in the carnage belonged to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), reported CNN-IBN.

A 62-page report prepared by prosecutors confirmed that all the terrorists involved in Mumbai terror attacks belonged to LeT, said report.

Corroborating the statements of the only surviving attacker Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, who is facing a trial in Mumbai, prosecutors said that there was sufficient evidence to prosecute them, said report.

Report said that the report of the Federal Investigative Agency gives a thorough list and pictures of the arrested suspects and of those who are absconding. The photos of many of the terrorists have never been made public.

In the list figures Hammad Amin Sadiq, who provided funds and hideouts for the Mumbai attackers and attack mastermind and Lashkar commander Zaik-ur Rehman Lakhvi, report said.

The other terrorists whose photos have been released include Mazhar Iqbal alias Abul Al Qama, who is accused of being a handler, computer network expert Abdul Wajid, crew member of the boat used during the journey from Karachi to the Indian waters Shahid Jamil Riaz, and two financiers Jamil Ahmed and Muhammad Younas Anjum, said report.

There are details of 20 others in the report, who are yet to be tracked down and who were in the crew of two boats boats Al Hussein and Al Fouz, besides that of some other Lashkar operatives, said report.
