FIR lodged in Jabalpur against the star cast of Tamil film Annapurni, accused of insulting Lord Ram.

A case has been registered against the star cast of Tamil film Annapurni at Omati police station in Jabalpur. The complaint has been lodged by Hindu Seva Parishad. It has been said that love jihad has been shown in the film. Lord Ram was also insulted.

The film Annapurni was released on 1 December 2023. Now it is being streamed on OTT platform Netflix. Nayanthara is in the lead role in the film. In the film, she played the role of Annapurni, the daughter of a temple priest. To fulfill his dream of becoming a chef, he is shown cooking non-veg.
