CM inspects proposed site of Smart City in North TT Nagar
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inspected proposed site of Smart City in North TT Nagar here today. Later, he directed to start Smart City’s preparations on a war-footing. ‘
The Chief Minister inspected the proposed site this morning. He said that arrangements will be made to turn entire Bhopal as Smart City. Bhopal’s natural beauty, greenery and open areas will be maintained. In North TT Nagar, Smart City will be developed on already vacant land. Earlier, Shivaji Nagar was selected for Smart City, but in view of maintaining area’s greenery and public sentiments, it has been decided to develop Smart City in North TT Nagar on 280 hectares.
Higher Education Minister Shri Umashankar Gupta, Mayor Shri Alok Sharma, MP Shri Alok Sanjar, Municipal Corporation Chairman Dr. Surjeet Singh Chouhan, Collector Shri Nishant Warwade and Municipal Commissioner Sushri Chhavi Bhardwaj were present during the inspection.
