Transgenders express gratitude to CM Baghel
The transgender community on Sunday expressed gratitude towards Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for providing gender equality in the state.
Baghel interacted with them at the virtual inauguration and bhumi pujan programme of development works of Rs 561.32 crores in Raipur district, an official communication said.
Transgender Vidya Rajput told Baghel that the community faced many difficulties for various events in urban areas and that the inauguration of a community hall here will provide a lot of convenience.
She said the community had to face many problems for housing. After the inauguration of 160 new houses, the community was very happy.
During the interaction, Tanushree Sahu told Baghel that she had been selected as a police constable. She welcomed the reservation provided to the community in government jobs.
