75.02 percent votes polled in re-polling in 3 assembly constituencies
Bhopal: As many as 75.02 percent votes were polled in re-polling in 3 assembly constituencies on the directives of Election Commission of India today.
Polling percentage was 69.64 at polling booth number 61-Ambedkar Nagar in Vidhan Sabha constituency number 152-Bhopal South-West, 77.34 percent at polling booth number 93-Jahangirabad in constituency number 153-Bhopal Central and 81.25 percent at polling booth number 83-Kalibavdi in constituency number 199-Manawar (ST) in Dhar district.
As many as 766 out of 110 voters cast their ballots at booth number 61-Ambedkar Nagar in Vidhan Sabha constituency number 152-Bhopal South-West, 413 out of 534 voters at polling booth number 93-Jahangirabad in constituency number 153-Bhopal Central and 611 out of 752 voters cast their votes at polling booth number 83-Kalibavdi in constituency number 199-Manawar (ST) in Dhar district. Poll percentage of males was 68.91 and females 70.44 at booth number 61-Ambedkar Nagar in Vidhan Sabha constituency number 152-Bhopal South-West, males 82.64 percent and females 72.12 percent at polling booth number 93-Jahangirabad in constituency number 153-Bhopal Central and 80 percent male and 75.29 percent female voters cast their ballots polling booth number 83-Kalibavdi in constituency number 199-Manawar (ST) in Dhar district.
On the commission’s directive, mock poll was conducted at these polling booths before 8 am. Office of the Chief Electoral Officer received reports from these booths every 2 hours according to which poll percentage was 43.46 till 12 noon, 65.38 percent till 2 pm, 72.72 percent till 4 pm and 75.02 percent till 5 pm.
Remaining arrangements were made as before in the areas covered by these polling booths. Polling was conducted peacefully. It is noteworthy that It is noteworthy that re-polling has also been conducted at polling booth number 14-Bahrara at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 05-Sumawali in Morena district, booth number 182-Chaurai and booth number 189-Ikmili at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 11-Lahar in Bhind district. Re-polling will also be held at booth number 151-Baikunthpur at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 68-Sirmaur in Rewa district, booth number 145-Barauda at constituency number 101-Panagar in Jabalpur district and polling booth number 100-Ujjain Dushehra Maidan at Vidhan Sabha constituency number 217-Ujjain South in Ujjain district.
