Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 1.3 smartphones launched alongside Nokia 5310 feature phone: Price, specs
HMD Global has launched three new smartphones, the Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, and Nokia 1.3 alongside an all-new feature phone, the Nokia 5310. Apart from four new devices, HMD Global also announced its expansion to Brazil this year. The company also announced entry into a new service category with the launch of its HMD Connect global data roaming service.
The new data SIM service will allow people around the world to benefit from a hassle-free data SIM when travelling and staying in full control of their data plans. Signing up via the app, Nokia phone users will receive a SIM card to their home address and will have effortless control over their data plan. The company says it will launch in BETA through HMDConnect.com.
Nokia 8.3 5G, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3, and Nokia 5310: Pricing and availability
The Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone is available globally starting in summer 2020. It will be available in Polar Night for a global average retail price of EUR 599 (roughly Rs 48,000) for the basic 6GBRAM and 64GB storage model while and EUR 649 (roughly Rs 52,000) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model.
The Nokia 5.3 will be available globally starting in April and will come in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colours with the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration priced at a global average retail price of EUR 189 (roughly Rs 15,000).
The Nokia 1.3 Android 10 (Go edition) will be available globally starting in April and comes in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colours. It comes with a global average retail price of EUR 95 (roughly Rs 7,500).
Lastly, the Nokia 5310 will be available in White/Red and Black/Red colours and will be available starting in March 2020 at a global average retail price of EUR 39 (roughly Rs 3,000).
HMD Connect BETA will launch through HMDConnect.com with a Starter Kit including the SIM card, up to 1GB of roaming data, taxes and shipping at the price of EUR 19.95 (roughly Rs 1,600).
