Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that when the society unites with the government, then the country stands firm. Any village, area, city is built only with the cooperation of the people and the public. The pride day of every village and every city of the state is being celebrated with the aim that the people know about the pride of their region and cooperate fully in its development. Chief MinisterChouhan said that he started this from his village Jait. When the villagers handed over the charter of demands to me, I picked up a shovel and joined them in cleaning the river bank. The concept of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cleanliness campaign is also based on public cooperation. Today, Indore city is number one in cleanliness only with the cooperation of every citizen. Let us all perform our civic duties and make our villages and cities excellent.

Chief Minister Chouhan participated in Satna Gaurav Diwas celebrations in Satna today. He honored the celebrities of the district. The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development works worth more than Rs 400 crore. The Chief Minister distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes and land rights to the beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme. The Chief Minister also made the citizens take a pledge to plant trees and protect them.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that investment proposals worth more than Rs 15 lakh crore were received in the recently held Global Investors Summit in Indore, which include development proposals worth Rs 2 lakh 88 thousand crore for the Vindhya region. No stone will be left unturned in the development of Vindhya and Satna. The medical college will be made all-facilitated and work will be done to establish a new college. Satna is progressing fast. In one year this city will compete with Indore.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Satna is a wonderful city. Satna has a glorious historical heritage and has the holy Chitrakoot Dham, Maihar and Gavidham. The food here is special, especially the local bhajiya, samosa, mangodi, lassi, motichur laddoos, Aloo bade are very tasty. He said that today I have come here to honor the talents and social workers of the district. The traders, businessmen, entrepreneurs, farmers here all deserve respect. Chief Minister Chouhan said that today traders have lit 5 lakh lamps here. The mind is filled with joy. When Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya, lamps were lit in every house. Today those children who lost their parents in Covid have also come here. He told the children that they are not alone, the whole government is standing with them. Under the Mukhyamantri Covid Bal Kalyan Yojana, these children are given assistance of Rs 5,000 per month.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Gaurav Divas is a day of enthusiasm, and achievements. I am proud to honor the dignitaries here today. Satna’s daughter Kripa Mishra has given a wonderful performance of yoga. The social organizations and institutions here have taken a commendable initiative by taking a pledge to contribute in the development of the city.

Member of Parliament Ganesh Singh said that Chief Minister Chouhan has given many gifts of development to Satna. Due to his efforts the work of smart city plan, corridor construction in Chitrakoot, corridor construction in Maa Sharda temple, medical college, elevated road in Satna city, 5 railway over bridges in the district, Dauri-Sagar dam, Bamithi-Satna four-lane and airport have been done. Mayor Yogesh Tamarkar welcomed the Chief Minister amd gave information about the achievements of the Municipal Corporation. He said that in the last 5 months, smart classrooms were installed in 107 schools in the city, 21 thousand LED lights, fitted 480 CC TV cameras installed, computerised water supply, 330 anganwadis were decorated, 3 big drains were. improved and 9 Sanjeevani clinics have been constructed.

Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Ramkhelavan Patel, District Panchayat President Ramkhelavan Kaul, MLA Vikram Singh, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present in the programme.

On the occasion of Satna Gaurav Diwas, Chief Minister Chouhan participated in Samarsata Bhoj at BTI Ground and tasted Bagheli cuisine. He appreciated rikmach, kadhi, jowar kachori and other indigenous dishes. The Chief Minister had food happily sitting on the ground with the children. About 5 thousand people participated in Samarsata Bhoj.
