Sonam Kapoor reveals why she shared her phone’s password with husband Anand Ahuja

After being in a relationship for two years, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in a big fat Indian wedding on May 08, 2018. The much-in-love couple now lives in London, with Sonam spending a lot of time in Mumbai for work. The couple regularly puts up photos on social media that are total #couplegoals. In fact, they also know each other’s phone passwords.

As a guest on Arbaaz Khan’s show, Pinch, when Sonam was asked if her husband knows the password of her phone, the actress nonchalantly said, “yes”. She added that “she has nothing to hide”.

Sonam also explained that she, too, has Anand’s phone password and revealed how this happened. “He just told me to open his phone one day and send somebody a message. This is way before we got married. I told him I don’t know your password. Then he told me his password. I did the same thing and that’s how he got mine,” said Sonam.

On the show, when she was asked if she could follow only one person on social media from her family, who would that be, Sonam promptly said, “Anand”.

Interestingly, when it came to unfollowing someone, she chose her father, Anil Kapoor. Arbaaz quizzed Sonam that if she had to unfollow one person on social media amongst Anand, her sister Rhea Kapoor and her father Anil Kapoor, who would it be? Sonam said, “I would say dad because he won’t feel bad. I know my sister and my husband would [feel bad]. I know dad loves me enough to not care.”

On the work front, after the success of Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga earlier this year, in which she played a homosexual character, Sonam will next be seen in The Zoya Factor. The film is a romantic comedy directed by Abhishek Sharma and is an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel by the same name. The Zoya Factor also stars Dulquer Salmaan.
