Rs. 319 crore iron ore-based industries set up between Katni and Jabalpur
Bhopal: During the last three years, Rs. 319 crore iron ore-based industries have been set up between Katni and Jabalpur. The units have provided jobs to over 325 persons.
Work has been started on establishment of Rs. 100 crore unit of Emerald Group. Several industries are trying to acquire iron ore mines in this area, which will lead to establishment of ten more units.
MoUs for the iron ore-based industries set up in this area were signed at Investors’ Meets held at Sagar and Jabalpur. Lands to these units have been made available by Audyogik Kendra Vikas Nigam, Jabalpur.
Euro Brand Industry has set up a Rs. 240 crore unit in this iron ore belt. It has provided jobs to 150 persons. Jain Minerals and Mines has set up a Rs. 10 crore unit where iron pellets are being manufactured. Eurasian Minerals has set up a Rs. nine crore unit giving jobs to 70 persons.
Besides, Geomin Industries has also set up a Rs. 60 crore unit where 100 persons have been given jobs.
