Bhopal News: In the election year, Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s government of Madhya Pradesh can give a big gift to the contract employees of the state. It will be somewhat similar to that given to Anganwadi workers and employment assistants. On Tuesday, a provincial convention of contractual employees of several departments has been called at the Motilal Nehru Stadium in state capital Bhopal. The Chief Minister will also participate in this. During this, he can make announcements related to contract employees.

What announcements can the government make for contract workers

Sources say that the contract process of contract employees can be ended. This would mean that these employees would no longer be given contracts every year. The Chief Minister can announce the same salary and allowances, annual increment, DA and holiday related facilities to the contract employees. Due to this, these employees can get benefit of 5 to 10 thousand rupees per month in salary. It can also be decided to give lump sum amount after retirement, six months maternity leave instead of 3 and compassionate appointment to women contract workers. In the conference, the government can also announce the withdrawal of cases filed against contract workers in the agitations held at different times in the state.
