11 nominations from Bhopal for Lok Sabha contest

So far 11 nominations have been filed for Bhopal Lok Sabha seat. The richest among them is Congress candidate Arun Srivastava. Advocate by profession, Arun is a millionaire. He has movable and immovable assets worth Rs 6.90 crore. However, his assets are less than his wife. A criminal case is also registered against him. The other 10 candidates are less than him in terms of agricultural land, land, houses, gold-silver and vehicles.

Nomination has started in Bhopal from 12th April, which will continue till 19th April. Till April 16, 11 candidates have filed nominations. Along with the form, he has also given details of the property. Nominations will not be filed on 17th April. Now nominations can be submitted only on 18th and 19th April. That means, only 2 more days will be available for nomination.

Out of the 11 candidates in the fray, there are 3 candidates who have criminal cases registered against them. These include Arun Srivastava of Congress, Babulal Sen of Maulik Adhikar Party and Ramprasad Patel. There is not a single case on the rest.

Among the candidates who have filed nominations so far in Bhopal, there are some who neither have a car nor a house. Some are living in their ancestral house and some have an scooter. Arun of Congress also has tractors. Apart from being an advocate, he is also a farmer.

BJP candidate Alok Sharma will file nomination on April 18. They will go to file nomination in the form of a rally. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, BJP State President VD Sharma will also be present with him. On April 19, Arun of Congress will again file nomination along with senior leaders.

The movable and immovable properties and criminal cases of 10 candidates are

Babulal Sen (59), Maulik Adhikar Party has a criminal case registered, has Rs 25000 cash, a scooter, 3 grams of gold. His wife has 3 tola gold and 1 kg silver jewellery.

There is agricultural land in the name of the family, while there is also a plot. There is also a house of 3136 square feet, total movable assets worth Rs 40 lakh.

Mohammad Ashraf (42) is an independent candidate with no criminal case registered against him, not even a single rupee in cash, a deposit of Rs 1.83 lakh in the bank, owns also a car and scooter, 1 tola of gold, total movable assets worth Rs 8 lakh.

He does not own agricultural land, plot, shop or house.

Jai Singh Lodhi in an Independent candidate with no criminal case and has Rs 1 lakh is cash, do not own house. The family lives in the ancestral house.

Mudit Chaurasia (39) of Akhil Bharatiya Aarakshit Samaj Party do not have criminal case registered against him, Rs 25000 in cash and more than Rs 35 lakh deposited in the bank, 1 tola gold, motorbike, a pickup four wheeler and a bike, 3 acres of agricultural land in Chhatarpur district. There is also a house and shop. They also have bank loans.

Mudit Chaurasia from Abha Reserve Samaj Party had come to file nomination on 16th April with coins.

Dhanraj Shende (59), Republican Party of India, no criminal case registered him,

Rs 1 lakh is in cash, while Rs 3 lakh is in the bank, car-bike, 2 tola gold, owns house.

 

Ankit Rai (34), Independent candidate , no criminal case is registered, Rs 50000 in cash, Rs 3 lakh deposited in bank, 4 tola gold and a four wheeler vehicle, total movable property worth Rs 10.53 lakh .There is no agricultural land. There is a 1200 square feet house in the name of mother Meena Rai. Whose market price is Rs 80 lakh.

The wife has 15 tola gold, which is worth Rs 7.25 lakh.

 

Ramprasad Patel (41), Independent candidate, filed two nominations. One as Kranti Janshakti Party and the other as an independent, 3 criminal cases have been registered.

He himself has Rs 40194 cash Wife has Rs 35 thousand 250. There is no agricultural land, no house and no car.

 

Mudit Bhatnagar (43), has filed nomination from Socialist Unity Center of India (Communist), no criminal case, Rs 500 in cash and Rs 503 deposited in bank.

Wife has Rs 39000 deposited in the bank.

 

Bharti Yadav (44), Independent candidate, no criminal case. Rs 30000 in cash and

90000 deposited in the bank. There is also an scooter and car and 15 tola gold. Whose total price is Rs 13.65 lakh, has ancestral house. There is no agricultural land.

Balram Singh Tomar (35), filed nomination from Bharatiya Shakti Chetna Party.

There is no criminal case, Rs 6 lakh is in cash or deposited in the bank. There is also a bike.

The wife has 5 tola gold.His total assets are worth Rs 8 lakh.
