Madhya Pradesh gets national award for infrastructure development

Bhopal: National award was conferred to Madhya Pradesh for commendable work in infrastructure development at Infra Leaders’ Meet in New Delhi by Economic Times in New Delhi today. The award was presented by Union Minister for Civil Aviation Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju. Madhya Pradesh Resident Commissoner in New Delhi Shri Rajesh Chaturvedi received the award on behalf of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, which carries a trophy, citation and memento.
Shri Ashok Gajapathi Raju asked entrepreneurs and investors active for infrastructure development sector to accept challenges. He also urged for private partnership in aviation services of Civil Aviation Department, airports and cargo-related works.
Shri Raju said that foreign airlines have large chunk of international air traffic these days with whom India has bilateral agreements.
CM Shri Chouhan’s cargo-related initiative lauded
Union Minister Shri Raju said that private sector should come forward for expansion of aviation services. Referring to meeting with Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he said that Shri Chouhan has made laudable novel initiative in cargo sector.
Rajasthan’s Energy Minister Shri Gajendra Singh, NBCC, Ircon, AAI, JNPT, Reliance Infrastructure, Punj Lloyd, GVK etc. were also felicitated for outstanding works in infrastructure development sector.
