CM launches Shahri Jan-Darshan Programme from tribal-dominant Mandla

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan started the first Shahri Jan-Darshan Programme of his second term from tribal-dominant Mandla area. During the mass contact, he intimately interacted with people. He enquired people about implementation of the State Government’s welfare schemes, especially flagship schemes and gave a patient hearing to people’s problems. During Jan-Darshan, the Chief Minister also doted on Ladli Laxmis. Minister of State for Rural Development Shri Dev Singh Sayyam and Rajya Sabha Member Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste accompanied the Chief Minister.
During Jan-Darshan, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was felicitated by Muslim Panchayat of the city. The Zila Panchayat weighed him against ‘laddoos’. The Chief Minister was accorded grand reception at a number of crossings in the city by various communities. The Chief Minister said that no stone is being left unturned in reaching out optimum benefit of development and welfare schemes to people belonging to all sections of society. He urged people to come forward to avail maximum benefit of these schemes. Shri Chouhan said that concrete steps have been initiated to ensure early redressal of people’s grievances.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan had launched state-wide Jan-Darshan programme in years 2007 and 2008 during his first term. Besides solving problems of large number of people during those Jan-Darshan programmes, he had also taken stock of field-level status of development and welfare schemes’ implementation.
Prachar Rath flagged off
Before start of Jan-Darshan, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan flagged off state-wide Jansampark Prachar Rath. Through this motor vehicle, information about various schemes and programmes and procedure to avail their benefits are being highlighted in a very attractive way.
