Model police station in Bhopal with advance facilities

BHOPAL: CM of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed a gathering at the inaugural programme of model police station at TT Nagar area. He said that the model building has been constructed by Madhya Pradesh Housing Board. The CM said new police stations would be modelled on TT Nagar police station.

According to CM modern facilities would be increased in police stations for enhancing working capacity of police. There would be increase in manpower too. The CM said police had eradicated the dacoity menace. He also emphasised on constant dialogue between police and distinguished citizens.

Former chief minister Kailash Joshi said prompt redressal of complaints was the criterion for efficiency. After the inauguration, Chouhan went around the police station and lauded the arrangements.

Home Minister Umashankar Gupta said that TT Nagar police station was perhaps the first police station in the state where all modern facilities have been made available under one roof.

The new police station in the state capital equipped with seating arrangements, record room, and communication and information technology chamber.
