Youths Must Come Forward for Water and Environment Conservation: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan called upon the youths to come forward for conservation of water and environment. They should also cooperate in activities of society and the government. Shri Chouhan was addressing the convention of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad at Indore today. Minister for Higher Education Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya, Minister for Women and Child Development Smt. Archana Chitnis, Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge) Shri Deepak Joshi, Mayor Smt. Malini Gour, Former Ministers Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya, Shri Vikram Verma and Chairman Indore Development Authority Shri Shankar Lalwani beside Public Representatives and Youths were present on the occasion.

CM Shri Chouhan said that the biggest campaign of the country for conservation of environment ‘Namami Devi Narmade’ Seva Yatra has been started by the state government. Not only water of Narmada River, the lifeline of Madhya Pradesh will be cleaned and made pure but plantation will be carried out on both the banks for its conservation. He told youths to participate actively in the yatra. Shri Chouhan further mentioned that this is a religious, cultural, social and economic campaign. This campaign will bring improvement in environment and people’s lives beside it will be proved fruitful to stop natural calamities. He said that leadership traits capacity develop being working with good organisation and it gives opportunity to learn planning, righteousness and discipline in life. Sharing his student life experience, Shri Chouhan said that many things can be learnt from struggle in life.

Sah Sar Karyavah of R.S.S. Shri Suresh Soni who presided over the programme said that problems can be solved easily by understanding of social perceptions. He further said that respect and dignity towards the country has grown in the world under today’s leadership. Programme was also addressed by Shri Sunil Ambekar and Shri Shashiranjan Akela.
