Yatra Left for Raisen District from Sehore District Led by CM

Bhopal. Narmada Seva Yatra became monumental in presence of large number of people in the evening in village Bamhori located on the bank of river Narmada today. The occasion was a farewell to Narmada seva yatra after its ten days in the district. Yatra proceeded from the district led by the Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The CM Shri Chouhan was holding the flag riding on a rath. Minister in charge Sehore district Shri Rampal Singh handed over the yatra’s flag at the border of Raisen district to the Minister in charge of Raisen district Shri Surya Prakash Meena.

The seva yatra which entered Chhipaner of Sehore district on March 19 incited new consciousness towards Narmada conservation and to eliminate social evils in 52 villages situated on the banks of Narmada after taking 9 night halts and holding ten Jan-Sanvad. Moreover, yatra arousing people’s feelings towards duties made them firmly committed towards the cause. People and the state machinery became one during the yatra to eradicate social evils besides Narmada’s conservation. Enthusiasm, commitment and gratefulness towards Narmada were remarkable. In real sense, grand form of public movement was witnessed all the time in yatra to establish a new era.

Chairman Forest Development Corporation Shri Guru Pradsad Sharma, Chairman MARKFED Shri Ramakant Bhargava, Shri Rajendra Singh Rajput, Divisional Commissioner Bhopal Shri Ajatshatru, Collector Sehore Dr. Sudam Khade, Collector Raisen Smt. Bhavna Valimbe and Public Representatives were presented during the entry of Yatra in Raisen district.
