World Bank invited CM of Madhya Pradesh for his crucial efforts for development

BHOPAL: Active role in innovative development programs of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in the state which influenced the positive results, blessed him with an international position.

The World Bank Headquarters, Washington invited the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the talks. Worl Bank is of the view that Innovations taking place in Madhya Pradesh a state of India should be made known to other countries also.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, managing director of the World Bank officially wrote to Shivraj Singh Chauhan to invite him to Washington DC for talks.

In the letter Ngozi noted the innovative initiatives in the development, implementation of health and nutrition for women and children in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh.

The World Bank delegation visited the region recently and met the CM.

In MP the Child Health Mission is being conducted. Approximately 38 percent of the total budget is spent on social sector. The women’s education, livelihood, health programs are also in the view of the state government.

The scheme of the State Government has changed the mind of the people towards girls. So the World Bank MD invited the Chief Minister Mr Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Washington to tell the world how Madhya Pradesh Government is working for the public welfare.
