Work on focused agenda: CM to Depts

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that work should be done on routine governance” and “focused agenda” for good governance in the state. While on the one hand, daily routine work of people should be done easily and unhindered, there should be regular action on the primary subjects of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and administration.

Continuous monitoring and ranking of all departments of government will be done through CM Dashboard and those who perform well will be rewarded.

Chouhan on Wednesday reviewed the works through video conferencing with all the Commissioners, IGs, Collectors, Superintendents of Police etc. At the beginning of the conference, Chief Minister Chouhan launched the portal of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, DGP Vivek Johri and all concerned were present in the meeting.

CM defines Good Governance Giving the definition of good governance, Chief Minister Chouhan said that good governance means “the people should get benefits of all the facilities being provided by the government in time without any hassles.

Our aim is to give good governance to the people of the state. We have to find ways to do public work and not to find excuses for not working.

Chouhan told the Commissioners-IG, Collectors-Superintendents of Police that “You are the representatives of the government, so it is your responsibility to ensure good governance in your area. You must communicate constantly with people and public representatives”.

Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains informed that the roadmap of all departments of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh and department-wise and district-wise information of all departments have been uploaded on the Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh portal. Along with this, all the necessary information and notifications have also been displayed.

Chouhan said that for the first time in the state, milling work is also being done along with procurement of paddy, so collectors should pay special attention to this. Collectors of bordering districts should take special care that paddy does not come from outside the state for procurement.

Under support price purchase, this time 5 lakh 40 thousand tonnes of paddy has been procured, while 2.15 lakh tonnes of coarse grain jowar and millet have been procured.

The Chief Minister informed that this time 35 procurement centres have been entrusted to self-help groups and they are doing very well. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed to ensure payment of crop sold on support price to the farmers within 3 days.

Effective action against land mafiaChief Minister Chouhan said that while taking effective action against land mafia in the state, their influence has been pushed underground. For this, officers of the districts of Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Satna etc. deserve special congratulations.

He instructed that during the proceedings, it should be kept in mind that the poor do not face any problem
